It’s a new year and the time to take a New Perspective when looking at your financial future!
The financial services division of Insight CPAs & Financial, LLC is now New Perspectives Financial Services, LLC. As we enter 2017 with significant changes in the financial services industry, we felt the need to refocus our efforts on the New Perspectives that we bring to our clients every day and bring that to the forefront. No worries, the only thing that has changed is the name. The broker dealer, 1st Global Capital Corp., is the same, with no changes in our approach, our process, our independence, or the funds and wide range of services available to our current and future clients. So why go through all the effort of a name change? To set us apart from the others – to continue to provide New Perspectives!
We want the world to know that we do things differently than many financial services firms. We are proud of those differences that, we feel, provide a significant long-term advantage to our clients. So what’s different at New Perspectives you ask? Explore the new website for more information and then set up a free, no-obligation meeting to find out more. You owe it to yourself to look at things with a new perspective.
As a CPA and CFP® Professional, I believe that investment and insurance products are not worth much unless we understand how they fit in your overall, tax efficient, well-designed plan. Ask yourself "Why do I own this?" and "How does this help me achieve my goals?" and "Is this too much or too little?" If you can’t answer these questions, review the thorough process we’ll go through with you and take a new perspective on your financial future.
Ok, we said our approach is different. Here’s how we work and what you can expect:
We start with a face-to-face meeting where we get to know each other. It’s important in a professional relationship that we can work well together. I’ll tell you about me and you’ll tell me about you.
If you decide you would like to use my professional services, we’ll start by asking you a lot of questions. These are not meant to be nosey, but just to fully understand you, your goals, and your current situation. We start by inquiring about what’s most important to you and then getting to the less important financial stuff.
We will gather a great deal of information from you. We will ask for details on your income, expenses, assets, liabilities, and insurance to be able to provide the no-fee comprehensive analysis. The better the data, the better and more complete the analysis will be! Here are some tools that will help you understand what we gather.
We’ll take this data, put it into our planning tools, and using my extensive knowledge as a CPA and CFP® Professional, will develop a financial plan for you. The plan will help you identify where you are today and where you are headed. We’ll analyze your investments using Morningstar, a comprehensive investment analytic tool. In addition, you’ll receive written recommendations to help you get from today to achieving your goals.
After our analysis, we present the plan and recommendations to you. In this meeting, you’ll learn about what you have and how these things help you achieve your goals. This meeting typically lasts 1½ to 2 hours; we just can’t seem to do it in less time when we're helping you plan the rest of your life. Once completed, you will not get billed for the plan or the time to create it. As mentioned we do this at NO COST to you. Our approach allows us to get to know each other and allows you to see how we work at no risk to you. If you choose to use us to implement your plan, you can call us, we don’t believe in bugging people.
If you decide to implement your plan with us, we’ll begin a step-by-step process to put the recommendations in place. While some recommendations move quickly and some slowly, we'll work together to turn the plan into reality.
And, just as important as the implementation is the monitoring. When things change, we’ll adapt our flexible plan to those changes and we’ll track progress to your goals. We are available all along the way and plan on being an integral part in your financial future.
